We offer training from U12s right up to seniors. In New Zealand water polo is grouped into U12, U14, U16, U18, U21s and then seniors. We have training available for all these age groups.

Yes. We offer U12s and also Water Wolves which is held on Sundays, offering a league where local school or friend based teams can learn & practice skills and then have some game time under the guidance of Sea Wolf coaches and referees.
This is not a swim school. U12s must be able to complete a width of the pool without stopping in a 2m deep pool.

As water polo is water based it is really important that all athletes wear appropriate swimwear. I.e. no loose fitting togs or board shorts. Boys must wear speedos. All players wear special caps to protect their ears.

When the term is 'opened', registration can be completed through the registration tab above. Simply choose your appropriate age group(s) and follow the registration steps.

Parents can view classes from the bleachers. Parents are not allowed poolside due to pool safety regulations. We encourage independent participation to help children focus and build confidence

Yes, when competing in a tournament for Sea Wolf. Players need to register with WPNZ here as confirmation of identity for WPNZ and must register as playing with a club (Sea Wolf) even if they have already registered with a school. The membership also covers eligibility, and safety compliance across all sanctioned events.
